Persi has served in various capacities of ministry throughout her life since she was 15 years old. She has been married to Dr. Carlos S. Morán for 34 years and they are the proud parent’s of their most valuable treasure Carlos Jr. and Carina Lissette. They are currently serving as the Directors of Hispanic Ministries and Editorial Evangélica.

Persi has served by her husband’s side in the pastorate, education, the mission field, and as Administrative Bishops. While serving as the Women’s Ministries President of the Northwestern Spanish Region she directed women’s retreats, conferences and other women’s events. What a joy it was to see the women’s retreats in that region grow from 125 women to over 1,600 during her leadership there. In addition, while leading the women in her region, she was appointed by the General Executive Committee of the Church of God to serve on the International Women’s Ministries Board (eight years) and as Board Chairwoman (two years). She currently serves on the Division of Discipleship Board and serves as part of the Ministry Emphasis Group for International Women’s Discipleship.

Pérsida has traveled extensively visiting and ministering in many countries in Central and South America as well as Asia and the Caribbean. She enjoys reading, writing, listening to music, laughing with her children, spending time with her husband, and a good latté. Her hearts desire is to bring glory to God in all that she does, to be involved in things that have eternal value, and bring a smile to her Heavenly Fathers heart.

She is deeply grateful to God for the many ministry opportunities that he has allowed her to be a part of, yet what fills her heart more than anything else is being Carlos’ wife, and Carlos and Carina’s Mom–this is her greatest joy.
